I basically didn’t leave a six block radius around my apartment this weekend, and it was just the best! I saw so many friends and basically ate out for every meal (and worked out too!)
Friday we went to our friends house, right after stopping at Nopa for happy hour! It was so pretty in the restaurant with the sun seeping though. Our friends made cocktails, the most incredible cheese plate, and BBQ’ed burgers. It was such a relaxing and fun night in.
I started Saturday with a BodyRok spin class, then we had lunch at The Tipsy Pig – I’ve actually never eaten here before, and the food was super impressive!
We had dinner with my best friend at Mamanoko on Chestnut – a semi-new Japanese restaurant. Also very good. The garlic noodles, tuna roll, and Mary’s Chicken gyoza’s were all favorites.
Also, K made homemade bread! It was the best tasting bread I have ever had. But beware – this project takes almost all day! You’ll be babysitting that dough more than you would a five year old 🙂 .
On Sunday I dragged K to an 8am Hot Pilates class at Karma Yoga, then we spent the afternoon with a picnic at the beach. (You can see how I plan my picnics in this post!) Ahh, if only San Francisco weather was always as nice as it was this weekend..
*Picnic basket is this one from Amazon – it’s heavily used in our house!
We finished our weekend with dinner at Chubby Noodle with friends. Guys, Sunday night is the prime time to come here! No wait and no crowds. It was delicious as always.
Also, we didn’t actually stop there..we finished our weekend at Smitten Ice Cream over cookie dough pretzel scoops. Yum!
Great weekend stuff!!!!
That bread. I’ll babysit it any day.
