It feels like summer, then the fourth of July suddenly rolls around and you’re realizing how quick this sweet season is flying by! I’ve been taking advantage of the warmer and longer days here in San Francisco since the weather has been so nice! We’ve been going to the beach on the weekends, which is only three short blocks from my house, but not usually taken advantage of enough! I’ve been enjoying a few evening walks along the water, happy hour at the beach, or chats with my girlfriends along the Marina boat harbor.
Meagan and I met on Marina Boulevard a few days ago for our own little pre-fourth celebration. I’m getting ready to leave for a few weeks of travel, then almost a month long trip to the east coast. Trying to spend special time with my girls before our crazy schedules are in motion — especially my beautiful besty, Meag.
We sat down on the dock and sipped on my current favorite beverage, Wyder’s Cider. You guys know I love bringing Wyder’s to picnics and parties since I’ve mentioned several times before on the blog. Wyder’s Cider isn’t just any cider. The flavors are very fruit-forward such as Raspberry, Pear (my fav), Prickly Pineapple (Meagans favorite), and Reposado. Wyder’s Cider has been in the industry long before any of the newbies popping up. If fact, the company was born the same year as me, 1993! I’ve recently had to cut myself off from drinking beer since it was causing all kinds of issues, and Wyder’s Cider has been the perfect replacement. At only 4% alcohol per bottle, and fairly low sugar amounts, this has been the perfect brew replacement for me! Its truly “Wander-ful” cider, as they say. 😉
For the actual fourth of July, I’m heading to Vermont to spend time with my family! I’m so excited to hang at the lake and disconnect from the real world for a few days. We don’t have any set plans, but I’m looking forward to going to the outlets in the adorable town of Manchester, especially J. Crew, the week of the fourth always has great retail deals. I plan on boating on the lake with my parents, enjoying a few sunsets on the deck with my dad (with a Wyder’s Cider!), and indulging in one too many creemees (what us Vermonters call maple soft serve ice cream)!
Hope everyone as a fantastic fourth!
Thank you Wyder’s Cider for sponsoring this post. As always, opinions are honest and my own.
