This weekend was probably the most laid back weekend I’ve had all year! It was much, much needed. After a crazy summer and diving head first into Fall with work and social commitments, I was exhausted. I love Fall in San Francisco, especially since its when we finally get a little taste of summer weather in the city. Besides lounging around basically for two days straight, I did have some highlights…
On Friday, I went to Che Fico Alimentari with one of my girlfriends. It was one of those restaurants that was “wow” on all levels! Most restaurants in San Francisco that are insanely popular and tough to make reservations at seem to fall short in one way or another. Not this place! Try the eggplant parm and fried squash.
Saturday morning I took an hour walk through the Presidio, which I rarely have time for during the work week.
After lazing around all day, my best friend came over and we made homemade margs! Our recipe is 1 shot tequila / 1 shot Grand Marnier / a dash of simple syrup / 1 shot fresh lime juice. I pour mine over a large cocktail ice cube instead of regular ice.
..After our cocktail, my bestie asked me to be a bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding. SO exciting!
Then we walked down the road to celebrate at Delarosa over pizza and rosé.
Sunday started at Karma Yoga with an early hot pilates class. I passed by this sign on my way out. Wine and yoga, two big things in my life. 😉
..Then I headed on a sunny walk to the farmers market at Fort Mason. It was the prettiest day!
I took the whole weekend off social media, too. I spent the rest of the afternoon working on Urbanista Girl and sipping rosé alone at a wine bar down the street from my condo. Feeling so refreshed and ready for the week!
