6 months, half a year. I can’t believe I left my beloved blog stagnant for that long. Since the freaking Fall. Phew – it’s like I’ve ripped the bandaid off writing just one sentence.
I wanted to pop on before I really dove back into the deep end of writing content again. The truth is, I felt a little uncomfortable writing about travel and wellness, since, well, are any of us completely “well” in the middle of a pandemic? Secondly, most of the world has been travel-less for over a year now. Now that we’ve covered that, here it is. I’m writing about travel again. I’m writing about wellness, and that probably means you’ll be hearing too much about my Peloton and green smoothies again.
Truth is, I’ve been traveling throughout the entire pandemic. Locally, domestically, simply, and safely. I’m going to tell you how I did it! I wasn’t comfortable sharing too much originally, since I know that my comfort levels and opinions differed from many people, even some of those closest to me. This isn’t to say I believe it’s now totally safe to jet off, and I absolutely acknowledge the severity of this illness and pandemic. It’s more that I’m ready! I am back. I am personally ready to share my past stories from the last year. Advice, guides on how to navigate this new normal for travel, personal experiences. My future father in law said to me last weekend that I should start sharing my “pandemic” travel stories to the world. My initial response was…who wants to read about pre-travel testing or what it was like in the Chicago airport?! Well, surprisingly a lot of people. People are curious as the world continues to open up! Traveling as a whole has changed, but some things always remain the same. I’m here to share my stories. I’m back to L I V I N G. And I’m taking you along with me…
See you soon..
