Happy Summer! It’s slightly depressing when everyone seems to think summer is almost over. Hey! We still have over a month if you count Labor Day weekend. If you’re in need of some, let’s call it, “mid-summer” party or BBQ inspiration, I wanted to share a few photos from the oh-so-fabulous Lobstaa dinner party my Mom hosted at the lake a few weeks ago. She had the dinner on the fourth of July and kept it pretty simple with a small group of us, family only. This felt super intimate and special for the fourth.
What she didn’t keep so simple was the decor and table scape! If you know my mom, she is ultra creative and has lately been honing in on her event planning and hosting skills. I don’t know if it was the fact that we had to stay home more this past year, or if it was her high involvement in planning my wedding, but she has become such a fantastic host. I figured the blog was the best place to showcase this incase you find yourself hosting a little dinner party in the next few weeks of this sweet season..

Hope you have a great “mid-summer” party! 😊
